About
Junseop Kim is a 23-year-old media composer based in London, United Kingdom and Seoul, South Korea.
Since beginning his studies in 2022, Junseop has immersed himself in a broad range of creative projects — composing original music for venues including the National Gallery, crafting soundscapes for diverse exhibitions and installations, and collaborating across disciplines in animation and short film. He now focuses primarily on scoring for animation and short-form cinema, bringing narrative worlds to life through sound.
At the heart of his work is a commitment to translating complex, layered emotions into music — whether through electronic textures, orchestral writing, or hybrid genres in between. Junseop works closely with each client to understand their vision, shaping sound that is both deeply personal and precisely tailored to the project's needs.
He is currently pursuing his studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
